๐ Logistics & Schedule
What areas do you cover for pick-up and drop-off?
We currently provide our adventure service in Co. Wicklow, from Wicklow town to Bray. If you are unsure if you are within our radius, please get in touch!
What are your hours?
We collect our explorers between 09:00 and 10:00 AM and bring them home happy and tired between 01:00 and 02:00 PM.
๐๏ธ On the Trails
What happens if it rains? ๐ง๏ธ
This is Ireland! A bit of “soft” rain won’t stop our mountain trek. We embrace the elements and the dogs usually love the extra puddles! However, your dog’s safety is our priority. In the event of extreme weather (Status Yellow, Orange or Red wind/rain warnings), we will adjust our plans to ensure the pack stays safe, often focusing on garden play or indoor enrichment instead.
Can my dog be walked off-lead? ๐๐จ
Yes, but only if you wish! We only allow dogs off-lead if you have signed the “Off-Lead Authorisation” and after we have successfully completed a trial period to test their recall. Please note that choosing to have your dog off-lead is done at the owner’s risk, as even the best-trained dogs can be unpredictable in a mountain environment.
Will my dog come home muddy? ๐งผ
Mountain adventures are fun, but they can be messy! We ask every owner to provide a dedicated towel. We will do our absolute best to towel-dry your dog and clean their paws before drop-off. If you have specific areas of your home (like a utility room) where you’d like us to settle them to protect your carpets, just let us know!
โ Membership & Safety
Why do you only accept neutered and spayed dogs? ๐งฌ
To ensure a calm, safe, and balanced energy within our pack, we only accept neutered males and spayed females. This prevents hormonal tension and ensures all dogs can focus on the fun and the trails without any “disagreements.”
Why are some breeds restricted? ๐ก๏ธ
To maintain our professional insurance coverage and comply with Irish legislation, we cannot accept breeds on the Irish Restricted Breeds list, XL Bullies, or any crosses of these breeds. This ensures we can provide a fully insured and secure service for all our clients.
What if my dog doesn’t get along with another dog? ๐พ
We only accept dogs that are 100% social and friendly. However, dogs are animals and “scuffles” can occasionally happen. I am 100% focused and present during all interactions to manage play, but we ask owners to acknowledge the inherent risks of socialisation. If a dog becomes consistently reactive or aggressive, they may be asked to leave the pack for the safety of others.
๐ Getting Started
How do we join the team? ๐
The first step is to fill out our Enrolment Form, which we’ll send you once you request your place here. Once we review it, we will arrange a Trial Day. This allows us to see how your dog interacts with the pack and how they handle the mountain terrain before committing to a regular schedule.
What should I have ready in the morning? ๐
A well-fitted collar/harness with an ID tag and their “muddy dog” towel. We’ll handle the rest!
