At Teaming Up with your Dog, we provide more than just a walk; we offer a structured, high-energy, and fulfilling experience designed around your dog’s natural instincts. From the fresh mountain air to the calm of our home garden, here is what a typical day looks like:
🕒 The Daily Schedule
🚐 09:00 – 10:00 | The Morning Pickup
Our adventure begins at your doorstep! We collect our team members in a safe, comfortable, and ventilated vehicle. To ensure a stress-free start, we keep the group small and the atmosphere calm as we head toward the trailhead.
🏔️🌲 10:00 – 12:00 | Mountain Exploration
This is the heart of our day. We head into the beautiful local mountains for about 1.5/2-hours.
- Mental & Physical: It’s not just walking; it’s sniffing, climbing, and exploring new terrains.
- Weather Resilience: We embrace the Irish elements! A typical rainy day won’t stop our fun. We only adjust our routes in the event of extreme weather (Status Yellow/Orange/Red warnings) for the pack’s safety.
🏡🌳 12:00 – 13:00 | Garden Retreat & Relaxation
After the hike, we return to our home base. Here, the dogs enjoy the best of both worlds:
- The Big Garden: Access to nearly 3,000m² of fully fenced garden for supervised sniffing and gentle play.
- Rest Time: A cozy indoor space for those who prefer a post-hike nap. Rest is vital after a big mountain climb!
🏠🛁 13:00 – 14:00 | Homeward Bound
After a morning of adventure and socialisation, we bring a tired and happy dog back to your home.
- The Towel Dry: We’ll give everyone a good towel-dry to ensure they return as clean and dry as possible.
- Settling In: We’ll settle them in your designated “dog zone” so they can relax until you get home.
✨ The “Happy & Muddy” Guarantee
We believe a tired dog is a happy dog! While we always do our absolute best to dry your pup before drop-off, a true mountain adventure often involves a bit of mud. We recommend leaving a dedicated towel for us to use, and letting us know which area of your home (kitchen, utility room, etc.) is the best spot for your dog to settle in after their trek.
